Virtual Consultation
$285, 55-minute Zoom session, recording included.
The purpose of this consultation is twofold: first, to develop a clear understanding of the career challenge you are facing, and second, to generate fresh insights and actionable ideas to help you tackle it.
To start, we can do a short grounding exercise (about 2–3 minutes) to help you focus, or, if you prefer, we can jump right into the conversation.
I will then take an active listening role as we discuss your challenge, asking questions to draw out details. We will then define the scope of what we aim to accomplish during the session. This lays the groundwork for problem-solving.
During the next part of the consultation, we will share ideas and identify actionable steps, and I will also offer my targeted advice. There is also time to cover any questions you have.
The consultation is designed to begin with broad exploration and discovery and end with concrete and practical insights.
Here are some sample consultation topics:
Developing a medium- to long-term career vision
Making strategic decisions about job changes
Effective time management and prioritization of tasks
Preparing for important meetings or presentations
This December and January, I’m offering a specially designed, two-part consultation to help you crystalize your takeaways from the past year and step into the new year with a sense of renewal and inspiration. Read more at: Design a Vision for 2025.

are deep thinkers who invest time in developing thorough and original solutions.

Long-Term Coaching and Mentorship
Six-month commitment or longer, with discounted session rates and messaging support throughout the program.
I work with business leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs to develop tailored programs for personal growth and transformation. Coaching programs have these additional features:
Ongoing support and collaboration: Sessions are scheduled every two to four weeks. In between sessions, we’ll maintain communication via WhatsApp for questions, reflections, and additional guidance.
Personalized tools, exercises, and techniques: I will offer tools and exercises intending to cultivate mindfulness and mental clarity. We may incorporate these tools into a coaching session, or I will provide them as options for you to practice on your own.
Increased flexibility: A consultation session begins with broad exploration and transitions into concrete problem-solving within a single meeting. In contrast, a coaching program spans multiple sessions, allowing us to balance exploration and problem-solving across different meetings. This flexibility enables us to dive deeper into each aspect as needed.
In short:
Consultation sessions are primarily designed to address specific, immediate problems or challenges in a structured format. However, they can also be paced flexibly over time to support longer-term goals.
Coaching programs, on the other hand, focus on achieving deeper transformations within a committed time frame, and offer more frequent interactions and guidance between sessions. They are designed to provide a more holistic journey.
Coaching and Consultation Philosophy at Sight Sphere
In my view, a successful coaching or consultation session is one where we engage in honest dialogue. It is not a one-sided process where I simply provide answers. It is a thought partnership—a collaborative journey where we explore an issue from both our perspectives and exchange ideas dynamically. During this process, we discover new insights and identify concrete solutions.
Trust is the cornerstone of this discovery process, as it facilitates open and effective communication. Below is a set of guidelines that I have developed with the intention of fostering an environment of trust and openness at Sight Sphere. These guidelines create shared expectations for how we communicate and engage to ensure a productive coaching or consultation experience.
-
Everything shared during our sessions remains private. What’s discussed will not be shared outside of this space. My commitment to confidentiality means you can feel free to express yourself openly, without fear of judgment or exposure. It allows us to explore personal topics with honesty and depth, fostering an environment where targeted insights and personal growth can occur.
-
Adopting an open mindset means actively trying out new ideas or approaches to see what works for you. By “trying on” different ways of thinking or doing, you may discover preferences and insights that wouldn’t have been apparent otherwise.
Openness fosters presence—the ability to be fully immersed in the moment—and they both enhance the quality and depth of our interactions. For this reason, I ask that you set aside distractions before we begin and bring your full focus to our sessions.
-
Our sessions are guided by your rhythm. If you need time to pause, reflect, or simply sit with a question before responding, I fully support and encourage that. There’s no pressure to rush or provide immediate answers. You also always have the autonomy to choose whether to respond to a question or participate in an exercise during our sessions.
"I had the privilege of working with Pian through several 'Focused Support Packages' during a pivotal year in my academic career. At the time, I was navigating an open-ended project that demanded deep creative thinking, several later-stage papers moving through the publication process, and multiple conference presentations. Pian's guidance was instrumental to my success in all these areas. Each session allowed us to tackle challenges head-on, leaving me with a renewed sense of calm and creative energy. Thanks to Pian, my work-life balance improved as well."
